The best discussion ever just went poof

Seriously, I had just typed paragraphs and paragraphs, and I was almost to the end, and somehow I closed this lovely little box wherein I had just poured my heart out, and the box went bye bye, and the discussion went poof. What would you do if your discussion had gone poof like that? Would you retype it or would you throw your hands up and just go do something else? Do you all want me to retype it? It won't be as good the second time around. Wait, maybe it will be better. What do you think?

That has happened to me before, a few days ago I typed what I thought was a great discussion, pressed the post button, and it just sits and spins. And then, it disappeared. Ugh. I was sort of mad, I got off of mylot for the rest of the day!
I'm sorry it happened.

Usually, if it’s started to play that sit and spin game, I copy and paste as well. I remember I was multitasking and didn’t do that. I was mad at myself!

Yeah, it's never as good when you have to redo it. After all, the first time was full of pearls of wisdom and mots justes and all...

I had this same thing happen to me and after that, I wrote my posts in a notepad first and then cut and pasted them into the discussion box on here. That way I never lose my post.

If you find the inspiration to rewrite, just do it.
