I will be planting one and hoping I will have something to show on the day of the party. I checked the Net to see the results on youtube but so far I have only seen seedlings but no fully grown plants. Probably those seedlings have to be uprooted and planted elsewhere and that makes sense. There are some herbs that can be allowed in the pot where the pencil is planted and they will grow to full maturity in there. Keeping my fingers crossed

Good luck with that. I hope that it really gets a beautiful plant. My younger daughter had got one such pencil in the return gift. We did get a seedling but it didn't survive despite getting all the care. Such ideas are really fascinating for a nature lover

@arunima25 The weather God is kind to Bangaluru compared to where I stay and so not easy to produce vegetables. Also I have maintained those wild trees that are not letting enough sun. I have planted brinjals and marigold. It is just three days.

@allknowing They make good prizes. I hope they all bloom. Have you planted potatoes and brinjals using these pencils? I have not been able to plant anything in the last six weeks. Now, the tomatoes, beans, brinjal etc have given enough produce and need to be replaced.

It seems I saw something like that in the past. As to the seeds, I rememeber long time ago I bought some fridge magnets as souvenirs. And one of them are is dry pepper and I can take the seeds from it. It is interesting the seeds can grow well to the pepper plants.

That is also a nice and new concept. Here we can put the pencils in the soil and the seeds will germinate
