I'm guessing you are talking about the notify when your friends post something,right? I don't have mine on because my email got overloaded, but I check the discussions my friends started link. Its just easier for me.

Nitish, you have more then 110 friends. Roughly calculated, there may be more 550 posts daily. If you want to answer each post of your friends that is very time consuming process. How do you manage all this. lol.

I turned all of them on and found that my inbox was flooded and nothing else could get through, so went in and selectively turned most of them off again. LOL
Now I go to my list of friends every day, check if they have any new discussions, or even old ones that I haven't yet responded to and then respond to them. Much easier and now I can get emails from other than myLot. :)
