Today's shopping trip down town.

Today is an eventful day.
Because I was going to get my repeat prescription today, I decided to set off later than usual. And yesterday I discovered that today there were going to be 2 celebrity editions of Homes Under the Hammer to celebrate it's 20th birthday. 20 years ago today, the first ever episode of Homes Under the Hammer was broadcast on BBC1 at 10:00am. So I decided to go shopping after both episodes of Homes Under the Hammer had been on. So because of that I also decided to have my lunch before I went out. The episodes of Homes Under the Hammer were very good.
So I eventually set out at 12:35pm. I went to the toilet by the Cathedral first, then I posted a birthday card Mum is sending to someone, then I went to the bank to put in a refund cheque and take out some money to get Christmas presents with. When I was in there I saw some angel keyrings they were selling for £1 and the money goes to a Walsall cats rescue charity, so I got one of those. After that I went to the photo expert shop and got 5 more pictures printed.
Next I went to Holland and Barrett to get some liquorice for me and my Mum, and some soy chunks for me.
Then I decided to go and see where the new Touchwood pharmacy is going to be. We've got a leaflet saying there moving because the current facilities are too small and they need to expand. I thought it was just over the street from Holland and Barrett because they said it would be opposite Costa Coffee. But then I realised it's Starbucks down this end and Costa coffee is right up the top. So I went to look but I still couldn't see where it's going to be because they haven't put any signage or anything up yet. There is a shop up there that is closing down so maybe that's going to be it.
After that I went to Tesco and got some raspberries and some Alpen cereal with no added sugar for me.
Next I went to Iceland (the shop not the country) and got some sweet and sour chicken, some Chinese style chicken curry and some paella.
Then I went to the toilet by the Cathedral again, via Minster Pool which is where I took the swan picture. (Above) After I'd been to the toilet, I went up to the health centre to get my repeat prescription. I can't wait till they move to The Three Spires Shopping centre because then I won't need to do all this trudging! After I'd got my medicine a kind young doctor opened the door for me to get out.
I was getting tired and weary by this time so I walked back St Michael's Road way. An asian lady in a car stopped and asked me the way to Church Road. I said I think it's at the end there, pointing. I don't know if I sent her in the right direction, but I think that's where it is!
Anyway I went home. I couldn't wait to get home because I think I had a stone in my shoe and it was starting to hurt!
Anyway, I got my socks and shoes off and put my slipper socks on. Then I gave Mum her change, Tesco club card and shopping list, then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. I put my medicine on my sofa. I'll sort that out later.
Tonight it's Children in Need and their doing a Doctor Who sketch that I'm looking forward to. After Children in Need I'm going to watch The Big Brother live final on +1.
What have you lot been getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Oh, thank you very much. That's very kind of you. If I had a rock inside my shoe I think I would be in trouble! It was a tiny stone but they feel massive when they are in your shoe!

Thank you very much. I'm glad you like the photo. It's about half an hours walk from my house to town. Sometimes I can do it in twenty minutes.
