If you want the best quality banana chips Kerala is the place We were there one year and we found a guy making them as and when we placed our order. They were onion skin and just melted in the mouth
We brought home quite a lot of it and they lasted for many days I tried to make them at home but could never match that quality There are special bananas that are used for making banana chips

I love them! And I also tried to make them at home but i could not do it well even if I bought a machine to dry them.

@allknowing No. I also fry bananas to eat at once. But I eat dry banana chips that are machine dried.

We have made them using a dehydrator

Never used a dehydrator We only slice them them and deep fry in oil but before putting them in the oil we spray a little of salt water in the oil and that salt gets coated in the slices.

They are made both with sugar as well as salt. Salted ones are more in demand
