My deepest condolences to the people of India / myLot

It has come to my attention that Australia defeated India today in some sporting event or another. I suppose it was a Cricket match, perhaps the Finals in some Very Important Tournament. I even heard that India had defeated Australia earlier in the Tournament. My source is my drug dealer, so don't bet on any "facts" in this post. As President of India, I grieve deeply with the people of my country. I lit a (probably belated) candle for Diwali earlier in the day. Now I will light another candle (actually the same one) for the cricket players who gave their best. Returning to the US, my adopted country, the 49ers won today, so I am happy. American football. No, I did not watch the game. But I watched the replays. The 49ers' bowler....I mean....quarterback...threw for 333 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Yay. I... Hi, this is Kitty. The Horse, as he calls himself, just passed out. He gave me only a tablespoon of wet food today, so I am blowing his cover. He cares more about his music than about sports. I will post a picture of ME, staring at YOU. Hah! Aren't I pretty? The Horse is NOT pretty. Vanny is right. He is pink. Pink like a pig. Pale is an understatement. And his hair is disgusting. It is mostly in his ears and his nose. Please don't let him now I typed this. --K

I know India fought hard. I know it was hard for them to lose to so worthy an opponent. I'm glad the 49ers won yesterday. The Pack did too. Now if we could do the same on Thursday, it would be good. Kitty ratted you out. Great picture of Kitty.

I will ask your pupil, The Horse of MylotShire to be more generous and perhaps offer you some Cat compliant Chocolates (subject to availability). Yet have mercy on him and let him have Burgers with Coke and play fine music. I appreciate your words for the Indian fans. Yes we are dejected. After a superb performance - 10 consecutive wins, a big loss to Aussies in the final by 6 wickets (a big enough margin) hurts. Yet there is always a new day and somehow players and fans alike have to get over bad memories and move forward. A bad news though : I read of a cricket fan dying of heart attack on seeing India's loss. Well, a game is a game after all, but perhaps a few take things too much to their heart. Perhaps Media and General public in India needs to treat Cricket as a good sport but not as a religion or something to feel too tensed about ! Have a great day !
