Kind of a cool photo from Golden Gate Park.

My brother and I hiked through Golden Gate Park in San Francisco the other day. He is a photographer and took a lot of photographs of birds. Mostly we saw crows, but he captured a handful of hawks. I had my cell phone with me and took only a few photos. One turned out particularly well, at least to my eyes. It reminds me a a painting at my late Auntie's house, with a horse shivering in the snow and cold, but orange light coming through a village window. This is an "older" building in the Park. I am not sure what it houses now. It was dusk, and I was able to capture the orange light coming from the chandelier inside. I hope you enjoy.

Nice shot of a building. Did you take any shots of the crows?

Wow, must be nice. I've always wanted a high powered lense but they're outta my price range.

I think that this is the mansion of the tycoon William Sharon. Nice photo.

@LadyDuck I'll try to learn stuff like when it was constructed, what it has been used for, and what it is used for now.

@TheHorse ......I do too. And, falcons and eagles too. I once saw five young eagles in a tree. There is a subdivision here with Eagle in it's name because the family of eagles stick around there.

@TheHorse It reminds me of some residences in the rich neighborhoods in Old Metairie Louisiana.

@LindaOHio As your staff member, I will pardon one if he or she walks by here. We have plenty of wild turkeys here (and just...well...turkeys...as well). Do you have wild turkeys in OH? I forget whether we had them in Iowa.

This picture emanates warmth. I wonder if the building is owned and maintained by the Park Service.

Nice pic. I saw Golden Gate Park once on my lone trip to San Francisco. As I recall there were lots of cyclists.

I ended up at Coit Tower. There were no women around in the middle of the day. Wrong turning me thinks.

That building would be great in a fantasy film. Spanish church? French?
