A Delta airline pilot who is named Ben but he did not give out his last name showed his heart of compassion when he saw a book called "Whatever After; If The Shoe Fits" that was written by author Sarah Mlyonwski which was located in the B Concourse at the Hartsford-Jackson Airport in Atlanta Georgia earlier this month. Ben did return the book via air mail to the Johnson County Library in Shawnee Kansas. The book arrived in Shawnee on Monday November 13 which is World Kindness Day. Ben did send a note to the library that he was willing to pay the late fee. Library officials told Ben that late fees in their library are no longer in use. The library officials are grateful that Ben was kind enough to return the lost library book to them. Link is upi.com/82717005433 via @upi

Yes, not many libraries charge late fees now, as nobody ever paid them. Ben did a good deed, returning the book to the library, and I think that not many people would do that. Even myself, I would just have left the book there too. The price of postage is so high these days.
