Charleston Police Department Officer Dahlen was involved in an unusual rescue mission on Sunday when he had to chase down a small dog that got away from the auto that he was a passenger when the auto that he was inside was involved in an auto accident on Interstate 526 and Sam Rittenberg Boulevard. Officer Dahlen was able to save the dog from being injured by being able to pick up the dog on the street after catching the dog by foot pursuit. The dog was returned to its owner shortly after the officer picked up the dog on the road which made the owner very happy Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us...

Aww the poor pooch, was probably frightened after the wreck. Glad officer Dahlen was able to catch it before it got hurt. Hope those involved in the accident will be okay as well.

I am glad that the officer returned the dog to its owner. It would be tragic if the dog was left to his own devices. I love happy endings.

@Deepizzaguy Keep them coming! A lot of people need things that lift them up in this season of the year. Many people fight depression and memories of the past.

The dog was probably scared that the noises from the auto accident did scare the dog.
