Browsing through I came across the image of the Bald Eagle Nothing bald about this bird. It is a fish eater and is mostly found around lakes. It swoops down for the fish when it spots it.
It builds its nest on old trees close to lakes. It is fascinating to note that its nest is the largest having a dimension of 13' deep and 8' feet wide.
It got its name bald as the meaning of the word 'bald' in old English is 'white-headed' Shows how ancient this bird is.

Never come across this bird. Its feathers are beautiful. But looks aggressive.
