The picture is of the pumpkin cake my sister made for our Thanksgiving. It was so good! I am not a dessert person at all, but I sure enjoyed this cake. I was wondering about you all, and dessert. What is the last one you had? Which is your favorite kind?

I love dessert and that pumpkin cake looks delicious. I would have enjoyed a piece with a cup of coffee. We had mostly pies for Thanksgiving and I just finished the last piece of cherry pie that was leftover.

I usually opt for something like pineapple chunks or other kinds of fruit. The last time I had any kind of cake or pie was years ago at the Village Inn, they made this really good banana cream pie.

The Village Inn, if it is the chain I am thinking of, has really good food!

Yep, it used to be a chain here too but they sold it to some other chain. EDIT: I looked it up and found out there are a few locations they used to be that have been sold to some other enterprise but there are still some Village Inn's here.

That looks so professional - wow! I'm sure it was quite delicious! I'm not big on dessert, though I'll never refuse it . A few bites would be fine with me. The last dessert we had was apple pie, last night - not from Thanksgiving, but a frozen one we happened to have. We shall have the other half tonight!

She did a perfect job on the cake from what I can see, I can only imagine that it tasted as good as it looks. Last night we had double chocolate brownies (warmed up) and served a la mode. They were terrific.

This cake looks great. I have a sweet tooth and I like almost all desserts. The last I made was a Black Forrest Cake, that is also my favorite.

That cake looks amazing! I guess my last dessert was the pecan pie I made for Thanksgiving.

@AmbiePam I think I've tweaked the recipe enough times that it usually turns out well. Now since I've said that, I'll probably never make a good pecan pie again!

Just about every kind is my favorite kind. Other than pecan shortbread cookies tonight, the last we had was Marie Callendar's Razzleberry pie. I do like pies. Your sister's dessert looks awesome.

The last dessert I had...I think it was the last of a cherry pie I brought home from a Wednesday night dinner at Bible study.

A Fiber One fudge brownie. My “desserts” are usually those, sugar-free Fudgsicle, or sugar-free apple pie filling. Frozen yogurt in the summer. And a Peppermint Patty on Saturday. I love key lime pie and cheesecake, but I like losing weight more.

Is that dripping caramel sauce? I'm now starving. I eat too many store bought cookies. Maybe the almond milk pepperment latte counts as a dessert? Sure was tasty. I hope the coffee in it doesn't upset my stomach.

@AmbiePam My stomach has been easily irritated lately. I drank orange juice in a restaurant and hurt the rest of the day. Coffee doesn't agree with me, either. Cocoa with its milk and sugar is just fine and I drink too much of it.

Never thought of pumpkin cake. Although not a pumpkin fan, lol. Looks nice though! Last actual dessert? Probably the cake my mom got for my birthday - was a red velvet. Not sure about a favorite dessert, so many good ones out there!
