Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 49 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. At least it is sunny. I'm done with work (except for tutoring) for the day and am back at the apartment. I never heard from the maintenance guys today which annoyed me. They had no way to know that the heat decided to start working again last night. The kicker was that when I got here TWO of their golf carts were here at the building and one of them was parked in my spot. I was like "are they kidding me? Not only did they not contact me but they are actually HERE in the building working on renovating an apartment?!?!?" It takes a lot to really get me angry when I'm not at work but I was pissed. When I got up here I could hear the heat going but it felt warm. I then noticed a new thermostat on the wall in the hallway. They had it cranked up to 74! I turned it down to 68 but the temperature then climbed to 75 and 76. I finally just turned it off. So I'm letting things cool down a bit and then I will turn it back on to see if it acts normal now. It looks brand new. Whiskey is here and he is wrestling with Charlie. My neighbor is already texting me to check on him. The worst thing that has ever happened to the dog here is that he messed with Adso and got scratched. He totally deserved it. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
