Feeling trapped

Alone in a wilderness filled with strangers, clowns on every corner, in every position of power, with nowhere to hide. Lights dim or brighten as I pass, my unbalanced currents disturbing the electromagnetic fields of all the useless devices around me. I cannot connect to this world, where the past changes daily, and there is never any true rest. The only things I can cling to are those I love. There is nothing else here for me.
