I would consider voting for Chris Christie if he got the Republican nomination. Would you?

As a political Moderate, with disdain for both white supremacists and political correctness, I would consider voting for Chris Christie for president of the United States. He is a true Conservative, wanting to throw the sensitive abortion issue back to the States. He is also a former prosecutor, and I hope he would be tough on crime. But he is also intelligent, articulate, and not senile. Joe Biden has done a good job as President, but he is old. Like many Americans, I would like to see new blood competing for the presidency. Donald Trump is both a career criminal and an idiot. We can't have him anywhere near the White House, even if he can repeat five words spoken to him.. My fellow Americans (pretend I am wearing a suit and have shaved off my scruffy beard), would you consider voting for Chris Christie if he gets the Republican nomination? Here's a recent clip of him talking.

Anyone is better than the alternative. You are so right in all you say about the Putz. I hope we can keep him out.

@TheHorse .......I wish that Amendment thing would come through. He would still run even if he is put in jail. That is what one legal eagle has said. I just look forward to the day when he is gone and out of sight. I'm just not sure when or how that's going to happen. He's brainwashed so many that they won't stand by and let him be too mistreated. The thought of what could happen is very scary.

I don't know what I will do if Biden runs in 2024. I'm at a loss. Have a good afternoon and evening.

@TheHorse Thank you for your support. I am going to have a task force investigating all these price increases that everyone is taking.

@TheHorse I like people who say what they intend to do for the country if elected. Sitting there to criticize the others only to gain support is exactly what I totally dislike. We already know what Trump did, we also know that Biden is senile, explain why people should vote for you. What would you do better than the others two?

@TheHorse He has a snowball's chance in hell. He has repeatedly gone after Trump, has said that there was no voter fraud, has said that Trump is unfit, etc. He is MAGA Public Enemy #3 (after Pence and Biden). Those fools will NEVER vote for him even though as you said he is a true conservative, not an extreme right-wing nutjob or a wannabe dictator.
I am happy that he is in the race because he is useful for pointing out how unfit Trump is. He might be helping to clear the way for a potential Haley nomination. (wishful thinking on my part I know)

@TheHorse Many of his ideas mirror not only Trump's policy now, but his policies when he was in office. He says he opposes Trump, yet he mimics Trump's ideas and claims them as his own as if he is somehow different, then says Trump is a danger. It makes no sense. On top of that he was a lousy governor who kept almost none of his promises and made New Jersey worse. For that reason I can't support him.
If he could present a LOGICAL and DEFINABLE reason to say he's got some new or different ideas, okay fine. But he doesn't. He just wants to be president. That's it. That's all it boils down to. He couldn't care less what happens if he actually got there.

@TheHorse My daddy.
Oh, you mean running? I need to look more into Nikki Haley. Her odds of winning are zero, but if you’re really asking who my favorite would be, I would have to look into her since the others don’t impress me. I just know under no circumstances would it be Trump. He is THE buffoon of buffoons. Now I feel bad for insulting your guy, Christie.
I HAD liked Tim Scott.

In a word yes. I think he is the sanest candidate out there. The Republican base does not seem to want sane and reasonably truthful however.
