Updates of the kiddos in UK

This 2023 Chritsmas will not be the same because the kids who grew up at home are now so far away beyond our reach. Our hearts ache when remembering those Christmases with them full of joy and happiness. The presence gives inspiration to the family, but they have their own lives, so we have to accept the reality. They are big now and they send us always photos of them, especially this time, it's winter there in UK. They told people at home that it is very cold, cold, day and night. They will be on vacation next year no exact month yet, that might be during the kids' vacation.I hope the photo image will be shown here. Thank you guys. Photo image: left kids' dad in Santa attire, next Charles, then Patrick and BB Shane.

It is very cold also here in Switzerland right now. My Parents were both very sad when I announced that I decided to get married and leave the house.

Kids grow and leave. It is the cycle of life and we have to adjust. It's been more than a year since my elder daughter left for college. I miss her so much. Even my younger one is graduating from High School in 2024. Happy that her preferred college is in our city and she can stay close to us for few more years.

It is a great photo! I am sorry they cannot come back for Christmas. That must make them sad too.

They will enjoy the white Christmas. Today the world can be smaller since you can still have a video chat and it is easier than the past.

Oh the kids grow up so quickly, don't they? Ah, so next year they will be visiting back to the Phils? Good that advanced technology allows for very fast sending of news and photos . . . but I know, it is different from having everyone all together.
