I stopped reading that book for today because I got so disgusted. Throughout the book, the author (who I found out was the head/CEO/whatever of the website Online Book Club) says things like "There is no evil", "If you are going to be free, then you should not say things like "should" (this should be this way) or "ought"(they ought to do it that way"). (not direct quotes). Seriously. According to the author we are all supposed to love ourselves (including our "past" and "present" selves [???]) and just ignore things (that the author says) are not truth. The first parts are so full of words I don't know the definition of and repetitive psycho-babble my brain was cloudy. Jeez, crimney... I went to the website to see how one actually is supposed to do/post a review, and instead of finding that found a list of rules that I haven't read yet and no record that I am reading the book I was invited to read. Okay... Don't know about this site, or if I'll continue with it.

I guess your review can’t simply be: “This book was full of crap.”

No, I'm guessing not--even thought it's the truth--oh, no wait--would the author define it as truth?

And just what is the title of that book? I can't make out the chicken scratching on the cover.

Much as I like to read, I couldn´t read that book from what you have told us. Or should I say should not read that book? I read for pleasure and for peace of mind. That books sounds like a punishment.

It's tough to finish a book and write the review if you don't like the book. Writing a review for some site would be tricky. You have to be diplomatic. You can't just say that the book is a crap.
