I am happy to announce that I am going back to work at the factory that I worked at 8 years ago when I moved back to the east coast. I went there the other day and filled an application out. The person that I talked to who I have had contact with for the last 8 years told me that I had to go through a temp service to go back there because that is the way they do it now. I did not have a problem with that so I went to the agency and applied. I was gonna take a different job so I was patiently waiting. Today I got a call from the company I used to work for and the HR manager said I was highly recommended by a couple of people and he said I start on monday. There was no reason for me to go through the temp service. I told him that I really appreciated that and I gladly accepted. It is a monday-friday job 7-3 pm. I am so happy I still had friends with the company

@Metsrock69 And it would be a familiar place and familiar work. That should be comforting

@Metsrock69 I always have. I guess I could say I have always been lucky to avoid it, although I have also pretty much determined I won't take one.
