Headache after exercise

Sometimes I get headache after exercising, especially playing badminton. Just now I went to play badminton with my children, and went to gym to work out. I was feeling fine. Then I went to the park and jogged. I started to get headache.
After taking a nap, I felt better and finally went and searched about it. I found that it's not unusual. I am not sure if these could be the causes of my headache, but I am going to do neck and shoulder warmup, and drink more water before I play badminton next time. I used to get headache quite often a few years ago because of my neck issue. After doing more neck exercises, I felt much better. So perhaps I need to do more neck exercises now, besides jogging and going to gym.
Do you get headaches often?

I would check your BP and make sure that is OK too.

I'd try the neck exercises and see if that doesn't help. We are all different.

It's a cortisol spike and it causes your BP to go up.
That's why I never overdo it, with anything anymore.
The body has no idea you're doing the hardcore exercise to stay healthy or fit, it just recognizes the feeling of overexertion and then it becomes stressed. That signals the cortisol, then the high BP, then the headache. Walking (strolling), light, very light yoga, and sleep are all the things your body loves. Fun fact: Cortisol alone can and will make you fat. That's why you see all those maniacs in the gym trying so hard and getting nowhere. One of the first things I learned from Dr. Eric Berg
Take it easy! :)

Thanks! I guess I might overdo too. I usually only get headaches when after I played badminton, but not other exercises. Perhaps it's just so fun to play, and sometimes it's hard to stop even when I am actually tired. But I really need to give myself a reminder to not overdo.

Sounds like maybe a blood pressure?

I get headaches, too, but it is because of low blood sugar (I am diabetic type one.)
