Finally, I finished the 1st project

I thought this would be funny for a discussion.

Oh, before I start I thought you might like to know that the selfie of me is via my iphone, so what do you think? I haven't had much time for the internet lately, firstly was the plumbing project that hooked my home into the new sewer system then to add insult to that my washer conked out so luckily I found a sale on a new Maytag. The price was really good but of course washers are never cheap. I'z deep in the debt hole but I will repay that debt as time goes by ....... funny how time flies for most things but never for repaying debt Well, at least I've taken care of business for now and hopefully nothing else will break down. How are your large appliances doing?

Mine are all pretty new so I'm hoping for a good few years more out of them.

My washer was at least 15 years old or more but still I was surprised when it no longer worked. Yours will probably last a good 10 years or more.

Maybe that is a good thing, at least if one breaks down the replacement is on the landlord.

My fridge is only 6 years old so is still behaving itself. I don't know how old my stove is, but I don't use it a lot, so it seems to be good, too. My washer and dryer are adequate for the moment.

Yeah, I had that same sentiment but instead of a stove I needed a new washer. Maybe after I've paid off some of this debt I can finally get a new stove.

Hee hee - love it! How did you get the photo to be so big? Oh no the washer. It's another big expense but it's a necessary one. Our appliances are ok for now, but there other things around the house that need repairing. Ugh, seems like everything falls apart in time .

I hope you figure it out. I wish I knew how to explain how paint works but all I can come up with is that if you go to image size to set the pixel so that one side is at 2000

I actually used the photo edit feature to crop out the border garbage then used Paint to fix the pixel so that it's large.

Lovely shot. My stove has one burner out and my refrigerator has no light. Other than that, all is well.

I have an upright freezer that needs to leave. I have had it repaired once and that is the only chance it gets. It is not working again. The plumber collects old appliances for salvage and will take it away when he finally gets back here.

That pic is muy colorful! Large appliances the washer and dryer and dishwasher are new so good. The think I worry about breaking is the water heater, but it seems to be hanging in.

Yeah, I had so much fun piecing that selfie together. Wow, 3 new ones. I hope to get my debt paid off enough to get a new stove, I'm really sick and tired of using a toaster oven and a hot plate to make lunch or dinner.

I'm guessing that the selfie your took was modified with some type of app or did your actually wear those lovely specs and lips? We purchased new appliances when we got our kitchen remodeled two years ago, or was it three? Then sometime after that the washer or dryer quit working so we purchased new ones of those all with extended warranties on them. Our previous dryer came with the house and was an old model. The washer was also older but I think it was a used model. What is like to replace is the laundry tubs as they are corroded. There are ways to clean them but I have to figure out a way to clean them so the residue doesn't go down the drain and clog things. It's an old cast iron tub and was prob our in when the house was built in 1948. Now to get some water.
