Have you ever been hit on at work?

My daughter texted me from work. A really creepy guy visited the store and made her very uncomfortable. He came in once before and said odd little things but she thought when she heard him say something about her rear end that she just heard him wrong until he left and she thought about it later. Today when he came in he bought a movie and asked her if she comes with the movie then told her he lives right across the street in case she ever does want to go to his house. I guess another who worked there a few months ago he had said the same thing to her. I live in a place where everyone knows everyone else so I’m wondering who it is and will figure it out soon I’m sure. It sounded pretty harmless to me but I don’t usually sense grasp when guys have other motives then just being nice or friends. Photo is unrelated. It is two of the Christmas crafts my two year old and I made to hang on our lilac bush outside.

She may want to politely tell him she is not interested. Leaving it open and not letting him know for sure how she feels only makes him want to try different things and, this may make him become more aggressive. I was never hit on at work except when I worked as a cocktail waitress. Pretty Christmas craft.

@celticeagle she told him that no she did not come with the movie and when he told her she could come over etc she told him that like the movie title “taken” she has a boyfriend. I thought it was a pretty good comeback. Oh I can bet you were hit on plenty as a cocktail waitress. Guys get drinking and can be awful.

@shaggin .......If the guy was a gentleman telling him she already had a boyfriend should have been enough. I had a lot of fun. Usually a pretty good crowd.

I have been hit on by a coworker at work, but not a regular Joe. That guy really needs to back off, and I feel badly for your daughter. I love those crafts!

@AmbiePam it creeps me out a bit too thinking she’s upstairs a lot by herself working where the customers come in. Luckily I made her carry pepper spray on her purse.

That is so hard for young girls to have to put up with. Will her supervisors help her feel safe? Yes, I have been hit on at work. Yuk.

@GardenGerty her manager was so angry. If he comes in again she is to immediately leave the floor and get her manager who will swap with her. There was another guy this had to happen with as well about a year ago. The manager is wonderful!

She needs to tell him he's not interested. If he keeps it up, she might have a problem. I certainly would never go to his house!!! Yes, I was hit on by a married man. He made his intentions quite clear. He disgusted me!!! The crafts are really cute. Enjoy your Sunday.

@LindaOhio she did in a witty way I thought. Of course when he asked her is she came with the movie she said no. Then when he invited her over she said “like the movie (which was titled Taken) says I’m taken, I have a boyfriend.” That married man would have disgusted me too. Things like that make me very angry! His poor wife.

@snowy22315 the one with beads took many days. I got the frame of it ready and then she picked out all the beads she wanted and put almost all of them on by herself. She has incredible fine motor skills like her older sister did when she was little. I bet it would be uncomfortable I don’t recall it happening to me.
