Things were a little more difficult on my outing than I expected.
I'm feeling much better today than the last time I went to Khol's, so I explored further in the shop than I did last time.
I finally found what I wanted--a toaster oven--though it says that it has air-fryer capabilities too.
It's going to take a bit of learning on that front.
I carried it outside to the bus stop, and sat right on one of the front seats in the bus instead of going back into the bus a little bit like I usually do.
I stopped at the bank, first, lugging this box, and dropped off the gift at the Giving tree. After that I went to the bus stop near the bank, and caught another but home, 'cause no way was I going to lug that big awkward thing home walking. I can do it carrying nothing, but...
I hopped another bus and rode back to the apartment complex, and then started carrying the thing back to my apartment. Almost immediately I ran into one of the maintenance guys, who I told about what I'd bought and how I got it with a gift card I'd gotten for my birthday. He remarked how bit it was, and offered me a ride to my apartment in his little golf cart thingy, which I glady accepted. I think he was going to carry it in for me, but I warned him how crowded my floor was, so he just set it down inside.
It will take a bit for me to open it and get it set up. Depending on how big it is once I get it out of the box, I hope to put it where my old toaster oven was. Sorry to my row of vitamin/medication bottles, but they're going to lose their place if it fits there.
When I went out (after leaving and going back to my apartment a couple of times because I'd forgotten something), I brought my pleasant book to read with me,
and I got a bit farther on it while waiting for the bus or being on the bus today.

That's good. I am glad you managed to find what you're looking for. Don't let the size of the box decide you. They are bigger than the product, an inch or two all around is packing material.

Yes, someone said something about it being so big, and I told her that was probably more because of the styrofoam and stuff that they have around the actual item. It just was in no way easy to lug around, is all!

@xstitcher I can imagine. I don't drive, either. Something like that I'd order online, LOL. Let someone else do the heavy lifting.

The toaster oven is going to be really nice for you to use.
