In the Cold Again!

Yes, I am. After 3 months in the tropics, I am back in the cold country again. Life is what I make it indeed.
Vacation is over and I am enjoying my being back home in Germany. I came from a 35 degrees to 0 degree Celsius weather temperature. What a huge difference! Still, I am glad to be back. I have missed German food especially the rye bread and different cheeses and salamis.
Btw, I forgot my password here on Mylot that I had to check my notebook where I hid it.I would have sent an email to the admin if I have not found it.
The photo above was taken in Communal Ranch in Bukidnon where I spent a few days with my elementary and high school batchmates. It was a fun get together. I didn’t know that there were many awesome views for me to see. I felt like I was in another country.
Anyway, time without internet is over too and I can be online again as often as I can.
I hope everything is okay with you. Thank you for reading.

Welcome back Thelma. The days are cold, but the sun is shiny, that makes the days more happy.
We went to a warm country years ago to spend Christmas and that was my saddest Christmas.
When you have the habit to see the snow and the cold, being at the beach on Christmas is not something you like.

Thank you @LadyDuck. I appreciate the sunny days in winter though it’s cold. I love it when it snows especially on Christmas.
When you are not used to celebrating Christmas in warm countries can be sad as you would miss the snow and the flickering fire in the fireplace. I love the atmosphere.
I seldom spend Christmas in the Philippines.

Gosh what a gorgeous area that is in your photo. I didn’t realize those foods were German ones. My husband thought he had more German in him then he does which we found out after an ancestry dna kit. He does enjoy the German foods you listed though.

Thank you @Juliaacv. It was indeed so green and beautiful.
It was a huge temperature difference as I was still spending my time in the air conditioned room in the Philippines. Arriving Germany was pretty cold for me. Gladfully, my son brought my long winter jacket in the airport.
I am already adjusting and working part time again.

Thank you @snowy22315. Yes, Germany is my first home as I live here with my husband and son. I live here in Germany more than I have lived in the Philippines. I actually have 2 homes to come and go.

I have been absent from mylot and didn't see updates about you. Did you get to visit Dahilayan? It's also in Bukidnon.

I was in Pinas for a few months. No, I didn’t visit Dahilayan this time. I was there a few years ago before the pandemic. Thank you @florelway..

I love rye bread and I'm sure it's delicious in Germany.
