Oh boy, do the spirits in this house like to play some days. My 8-year-old decided last night to bring down the Santa phone from the hallways to the main floor in the smaller living room. Well someone thought it would be funny every time I turn off the lights last night and leave the kitchen that making the Santa phone ring would be fun. Not once but Twice did I have to tell that spirit to knock it off. I'm promptly moving that phone back upstairs because I'm not in the mood for these games this week. No, this phone doesn't work on motion sensors. It is strictly you pick it up and hit a number and it rings.

Wow! This sure is very interesting! I do have some questions. I hope you don't mind my asking. How long have these "playful" spirits been doing this? Also, is it only during Christmas that it gets playful? Is the house where you and your 8-year-old known to be haunted? Thank you

Lol, these spirits have been here long before us. My husband grew up in this house and the vast majority of the time they are pretty good listeners and don't play with the kid's toys are scary one. Actually, I came to turn over the darn phone and found it did have a sensory part that was flicked on so I turned it off It should stop now. Lol... Now I have to find out if one of the kids did it. I'm going to go with the 12-year-old doing so to make her little brother still believe Santa comes by every year same with the 11-year-old. Our house spirits will play all year round when given the clear. I'm empathic and don't put it past my kids' ability to either. I have more than 1 kid so what the other kids see or don't see I wouldn't know. I don't ask them just like I don't tell when I hear or see things.

@ShyBear88 Oh my, your house sure is haunted, unless somebody is being silly :-) I'm happy to know that these spirits are not the kind of hurting the people who lives in the house where they are still in. If it is your 12-year-old being naughty, that's still funny because your 11-year-old will overcome the thought that Santa do exists. You mentioned that your kids, and you might or might not, have seen or heard spirits. What about your husband? Has he mentioned anything since you guys started living in this house?

@ShyBear88 I'm thankful that they never tried to hurt you and your family. I would like to say that they know what respect means, in their world as well as in this world. There had been shows of ghost hunters, they would go to known haunted places. I find it strange that after they ask the spirit to show a sign, they would freak out. What?! They would be asking for a sign and when they are given a sign they would either scream or run. What?! Unbelievable *smh*
