Vacuum Cleaner Bag Holds Missing Ring in Swanky Hotel

A Malaysian businesswoman filed a police report Friday after her ring valued at more than $800,000 had mysteriously vanished from her hotel room at the lavish Ritz Paris. It was later found by a security guard inside a vacuum cleaner bag at the hotel. She says she had left the ring on a table in her room when she went out shopping. She is accusing a Ritz employee of stealing the item. By the time it was found the woman had already left for London but she is expected to return to retrieve her property.

Some people don't value their possessions. Expect to be waited on and have their things picked up and taken care of for them.

She isn't too bright, traveling with a ring worth that much money, then leaving it on a table. I'll bet she threw a hissy fit when she found it missing! She owes the entire HOTEL staff an apology of a monetary sort...if she can afford a $800,000 ring and leave it on the table like a $20 fake, she can afford an apology, a BIG one!!!!!

I think one of 2 things happened.
Either it was stolen by a staff member and hotel security found out who it was and "persuaded" them to return it and keep their mouth shut OR the woman had actually dropped it on the floor and it was hoovered up by housekeeping and the security staff identified the hoover/vacuum used and recovered it.
