A Pennsylvania police officer adopts a stray cat

An airport employee in Allegheny County Pennsylvania saw a stray cat on the grounds of the airport which prompted the employee to contact the Allegheny County Police Department (ACPD) last Friday.
ACPD Patrol Officer Edward Watts volunteered to adopt the one year old female cat named Spirit after she was captured by the police officers at the airport.
Officer Watts offered to get Spirit medical attention at an animal hospital where veterinarians were able to make her feel better from various health issues.
Spirit is now part of the Watts family thanks to the actions of the police officer who decided to adopt a stray cat.

It is good that the cat was young, only one year old, as a stray that is older, and street cany, might be hard to train as an adopted cat, and cause much trouble for the adopting family too.
