Thanks to the concerns of a resident of Miami Dade County who called the authorities after seeing a eight foot long boa constrictor that was seen on a road on Wednesday last week. Fire Dade Fire Department Rescue (FDFR) Venom One Response Unit Lieutenant Christopher Percori answered the call for help as he used a large tarp to catch the red tailed boa constrictor and remove the animal from the road. Lieutenant Percori took the animal to the officials of the Florida Fish And Wildlife authorities where the snake will be taken care of for the time being. It is not own if anyone lost his or her pet snake or not. Link is upi.com/6561702935152 via @upi

I don’t think it will meet a positive fate, but I could be wrong. At least it’s out of the way of unsuspecting pets.

Neither could I since boa constrictors are very poisonous snakes.
