over $800. I was wrong in thinking that they didn't take out for summer savings--that would have been an extra $400. Still I'm happy to get an extra $800. It is amazing how much money they take out of each check for things like medical, pension, and retirement. I threw that money at credit cards. I also put some $$ in savings. I don't get paid again until January 12 and rent is due Jan 1 so I'm going to have to wait until then to pay bills again. I'll have *some* extra then as well from tutoring and class coverages. Every little bit helps.

Yep, you are right every little bit helps. That is why I do not give up on taking surveys for some money and for gift cards.
