Year ending already? How was your 2023?

Before I knew it, 2023 is already coming to its end. So, my daughter randomly asked me this question at bedtime. Great! I had all the time that night to mull over the year. A lot changed. We decided to simplify our lives but it isn't that easy to do that. Especially that we live in those "complicated" world where the "successful" ones are usually those with fat pockets. Early retirement. Less stress, less time out and more time with the family and do things with friends. But it also means just buying the essentials because money is on a tight budget. Covid-19 came and we are living by the new normal. But if there's anything the pandemic brought to me mentally is that have been made aware to look into our health as a family. Boost immune system, eat healthy, exercise and basically take care of our health. So what about you? How was your 2023?
