The sound wasn't right. I had reached over my bed to turn off the heat, in preparation for heading to Guitar Center.
But I still heard the heater back at my desk.
Fortunately, I checked.
I had forgotten to turn off the heater.
Instead, I had put my student list in my guitar case, which was on the bed.
It was like when I go into the kitchen to pour coffee and instead put an egg on the burner (in the pan).
Have you ever had a senior moment? Or an almost senior moment?

@wolfgirl569 Sigh. Anyway, my brain seems to be working this morning. I am brewing up my second cup of coffee.

I’ve taken out a Metro Card instead of my credit card once to pay for groceries. Or took out a credit card to open my house door.

@TheHorse at least I didn’t actually swipe the card lol. I just took it out of the wallet.

@lovebuglena I'm not sure that qualifies as a Senior Moment. I have too many cards in my wallet as well.

Those kinds of moments crank up my anxiety. I try to avoid them at all costs. If I really cannot remember something or find something etc. I sit down by my PC and take a deep breath, Then I carefully go through all I have done so far upt to that point and usually by that time it pops in my head and I sigh with relief. Anyway, here's to hoping we have more productive times and less senior moments in the New Year.

Sometimes. My husband has them more than I do; but to be honest, he is 7 years older than I am; so he's allowed! Have a good day.

@TheHorse I don't like that many years between us. He'll probably die before me; and I don't like that at all.

Many, many times. You get through it and move on.
