How do I make a sugar free shake?

I have some frozen banana's & strawberries & a container of Whey powder, as well as canned milk or low fat milk, I've looked online to make the right drink I can have all day or in afternoons. I've never had to make shakes I just buy them but they are packed with sugars I don't need I just want a shake I can make everyday for a everyday drink that won't spike my sugar.

You do know nothing is sugar-free right that isn't water. All foods have sugar natural sugar and nothing is wrong with having food with sugar especially if you're making it yourself. Fresh or frozen fruits are going to have sugar because they naturally do. Whey is a powder you'd have to look on the back to see its sugar content (honestly wouldn't touch that stuff unless you need more protein), If wanted to increase my protein I'd do whole milk but low-fat milk is fine but again check the sugar content on the back of the milk it goes through a pasteurization process and it can change the sugar content in the milk. Low fat doesn't mean low sugar just means less fat in the milk. Also, keep in mind most low-sugar things might have more other things like diet drinks have more sugar in it than regular soda or sugar-reduced soda which uses a different sweetener. If you want something that is reduced sugar sugar-free water/ice vs milk/yogurt with your fruit it would be more of a smoothy than a shake but you won't have to worry about added sugar from the milk/yogurt.

@2ndchances24 It's already pretty simple how much more simple do you want to make fruit and yogurt right there even low fat younger? You can easily just choose one fruit and that makes it 2 ingredients. If you want to burn more calories ice but shakes are already cold so that would burn more caliors already since your body has to work to warm it up and that takes more effect when things are cold vs warm.

I would just put those in the blender, blend and not add anything else. Fruit has enough natural sugar you don't need anything else.

@2ndchances24 Yes, it is. They often substitute bananas for sugar.

I was thinking about doing that too, but wasn't sure if that was a good way to do it.

I would recommend using Splenda or stevia. There are other brands of natural sugars too like monk fruit, but many of them are pretty expensive. If your can manage using little amounts your shouldn't go thru it too fast.

bananas and strawberries themselves contain a lot of sugar. I'd just add them, some protein powder, and the lowfat milk.

Bananas, surprisingly, are one of the fruits with the most sugar although I'm not saying to cut them out of your diet completely. Have you ever thought about using oat milk? It has less sugar than regular milk. When I put fruit and other things in oat milk I can hardly tell it isn't regular milk.

I don’t drink shakes, because I prefer the oral side of chewing. I imagine that real fruit shakes don’t need added sugar at all.

it's not about adding MORE sugar, I just want to make them myself & never have done any.
