Today was all over the place

Our day started out we had to go to the bank
then therapy, then to the store to get M Orders
then get gas then go pay bills, & some STUFF?
While we were at the smoke shop getting
some STUFF there was a lady that had came in
& right B-4 we left she heard me talking to the
cashier about me in the hosp & she over heard
me, & just as I was FIXING to walk out the door
She came up to me like an old friend I haven't
seen in ages, & have never seen her B-4 & we
started taking about her surgery from cancer
& it was so strange how that we just CLICKED.
by the time we got out in the parking lot we
had made friends & exchanged phone #'s
so after we got home & got settled in I gave
her a call & she was tickled pink I had called.
She live a few towns from me but not too far
we have made a date for a ladies night to just
hang out & talk & get to know each other better.
It's funny how God brings people in our lives
out of the blue like that when you lest expect it
but it's not just funny but what a awesome God.
She was telling me that she was in bad shape
when she found out she had colin cancer &
was in the Hosp for a few mons & not long had
got out, & when she heard I had been in the
hosp & what I went through she had to say hi.
So what's so funny about this person & me?
I thought about the way we met as we talked
on the phone & she was talking about how she
was depressed cause she had cancer & all &
when she heard & seen me she had this urge
to come meet me & after we met & talked she
felt SO MUCH more better, why I don't know.
Then she went on to say how lucky-blessed
she was after meeting me & her daughter was
going to move in with her & how things were
looking up for her for the new year, sweet Jesus.
So now we have a date after winter to meet up
& get to know each other & do things together
so I guess I can say I made 2 friends I didn't have.
You know how I keep telling you that God works
in MANY ways ? well my friends that's what I mean
he will put certain people in our paths to help in
some way or another, & WHALLA your B O F's
I have a friend in KY that god put in my path about
15 yrs ago ALMOST the same way but different
she had came to a yard sale we were having &
she stopped in to see what we had & B-4 we knew
it we had each others phone #'s & we talk for HRS.
Has God put people in your path & you made a new
friend this year? it's great when God does his stuff
to get people together for life, he is SO AWESOME.

I'm so happy for you. God is GOOD in giving us friends who help and encourage us.
I don't know how long I've known my friend down the hall. I met her when she moved in, but it wasn't until I left a church plant that wasn't teaching a right gospel, that she suggested I go to her church. I went with her and have been best friends since. I also started going to her ladies Bible study at her church and made some awesome friends in the past year and even their pastor has become friends. Yes, God is wonderful. All this happened this year.

I am happy you all met, pretty cool. I hope you help each other and its nice to having people to relate too. Life does not go far if no one has your back.

That is so wonderful and yes, I think we meet up with people when least expected and when it is supposed to happen, I am the bet example of all. My first marriage did not work out and then my mom wanted to go back to her homeland and then we went and I met my future husband and soulmate and stayed there for 20+ years

@2ndchances24 I think the poor thing just wanted someone to talk to about her problems. No different when you post and / or talk to people about your problems.
But yes, if she isn't the type of person you want in your life then no point hanging around. I hope she gets better though. I think you both bonded over something thinking it could be a friendship but didn't turn into what you thought.

It didn't last long, she hasn't called me since we met
& when I called her I could tell she was a drinker &
I don't involve myself with drunks & not taking care
of themselves & want to complain why they are so
sick all the time, I don't have time for pity parties.
