30 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a mild day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. This morning when I watched the weather, it wasn't supposed to get above 33F. This morning we had a 40% chance of snow tonight. A couple of hours ago it was 10%. When I looked just now, it's back to 40%. All I can hope for is that we get snow. And I would like to see it when I get up in the morning. I have much to be thankful for today. Obviously, the weather report isn't one of those. I'm thankful I got up at 3:20 this morning. It helped me get what I needed done today, so I will be ready for the open house on Monday. I'm thankful I got the laundry done right away this morning. I had it finished by five and put away soon after. I'm thankful I got the bathroom cleaned while the laundry was going. Two things I can cross off my to-do list. I'm thankful for being here with you today. I finished the notifications three times and found out what you're doing in your world. I'm thankful for the work I did on Love's Illusion. Though I didn't do much. It's reading well. I have 60 pages left. I worked on 11 chapters today. I'm thankful I have all my steps. I walked each floor three times for a total of nine circuits on each floor. I'm thankful I have the kitchen floor washed and the dishes run through the dishwasher. My yearend thankful post. As most of you know, I'm not on the computer on Sunday after I post the Bible study. I want to thank all of you for your friendship. Friendships are valuable, and even more so are virtual friendships. Most of us don't get to meet face to face. You mean a lot to me. I'm thankful for my relationship with Jesus, my Savior. Without Him, I am nothing. With Him, I am everything. It is because of Jesus in my life that I am the writer/author I am. I am thankful for a renewed relationship with my daughter. That is worth more than pure gold and I can only thank my Savior for forging a new relationship between us. I'm thankful for my son's girlfriend. Not long ago, she made me very happy when she said she doesn't visit often enough. I'm also thankful for the relationship my son has with her. I'm thankful for a place to live and the many friendships I have here. I'm thankful for winning the Elves Disaster door prize. It was fun to work on the door. I'm thankful for outside activities that keep me active and are a means of relaxation. I love rock painting as many of you know. I'm so thankful my friend introduced me to it many years ago. I'm thankful for the opportunity to get a new car. I will find out the details about that tomorrow. Okay, you have my thankful list for today and this year. What are you thankful for?
