Yesterday was a GREAT day for me, I took all my meds
that morn along with my fast acting insulin & all through
out the day, I never seen it get past 200 I was surprised.
I took my sugar test through out the day & it stayed in
the 1's JUST BARELY getting into the 2's I was excited
that I could see things working like the dr's want them to.
I just hope I can keep it up as long as I can & make the
Dr happy when the time comes for me to go see him on
the 24th & 26th (2 different dr's) & I can keep this going.
I got to 135 by late noon & felt rough, sluggish, tired, so I
took me a 4 hr nap & it helped a little but still felt tired so
I had me a buscuit hubby had made & that helped.
So I guess that means I can't get TOO low in my sugar
cause that's not the 1st time I've felt that bad like that
1st time was cause I didn't eat anything most the day.
I have a dr's appt Tuesday, for some test they have
to do & Wens we have some running around to get
done & make a day out of it, & MAYBE go to get the
PANALLING for the kitchen for the cabin, lets pray.
I seen while I was taking a shower yesterday that
since we put the VAPOR barrier up on the cealing
of the cabin, the mice have started pulling all the
insulation out & have mice droppings on the barrier
So we HAVE to get something DONE or it's not
going to be worth a FLIP if we don't, DAMMIT
I'm so TIRED of waiting to get things done it's
slap KILLING me from getting out there & doing
it myself . . . KNOWING I can't, what am I to do?

It's getting there even after all this time, I'm
keeping it under 200 & that's not easy so
I told husband I HAVE to get off the sweets
like ice cream & my # 1 gummies & ALL
breads & starches that's keeping it up.

Well Gayle, how nice that you had a good day and I hope those continue. It's sure frustrating when you want things done and can't do them yourself. I can relate.

@2ndchances24 That's what I am saying though. If you plan to die in it, what it is worth to you is nothing in terms of equity because you will never collect it. So, in that way, "value" is less important. It may matter to who you pass it down to. But you're just throwing money at a zero sum gain EXCEPT that putting any money into it makes it more LIVEABLE. But that should be the only consideration. Not necessarily what you could sell it for because ultimately you will never sell it nor benefit from the sale. lol
In other words, the only consideration that makes sense is it being liveable, not to make it more valuable ultimately. Spending money to make it liveable makes sense. Spending money to make it worth more does not. Hope that makes sense.

@porwest You said just what I've been saying
I don't plan on selling or giving it to any 1 that
after I'm gone the state will do what they do.

but YEAH I PLAN on living in it for the rest of my life 4-REAL.
It's the closet thing I have to being in a REAL home that I've
always wanted & 24x24 size cabin is as good as I can get.
