Good job. I don't know how; but I managed to lose 5 pounds during the holidays. Makes no sense since I ate whatever I wanted to. Have a great day.

@Tina30219 Thanks. We still have some goodies left; but they're disappearing rapidly.

That is really great and you should be very proud of yourself for what you are doing. It is not easy to keep the weight off. I am glad that in Judaism we have fast days where we cannot eat or drink for a certain amount of time and since I went on my weight loss journey and lost the weight I wanted I can look at food and not want it. Not being able to drink anything was harder but now I manage it. We have about 6 fast days in a year. We have 4 minor that are just as important as the two major ones where we get up early and eat breakfast or have something for breakfast and then fast till night fall. I have had times where I went to bed fasting if had to get up earlier the next day. The two major are harder because we start fasting the night before until the next night the next day.

After your tests you could eat or drink if you want to. I find I want to fast these days. I have also had blood tests and after the test was done I could drink because I will not eat until my next meal and on those days I will only have one meal. I eat two meals a day and in between meals I do not snack anymore but drink. I gave up a lot of things. For me fasting was hard in the beginning but it is not bad now except for the major ones and drinking. I have gone grocery shopping on fast days too.

So happy for you! I just hit the 50-pound loss mark. I wish we could lose it as effortlessly as we put it on!!
Congratulations!!!

Good job, Tina. I know it can be very hard, especially with good foods around the holidays!
