Flooding In Bath

I normally walk to work 15-20 minutes a day but today I encountered a bit of a dilemma as the roads are flooded. I had to run in the middle of the road to cross it as both sides were flooded apart from the middle. I initially thought I would be late but by some miracle I still made it in time. Hooray!

@moffittjc It is hard cause I mostly walk than drive and it is also even inconvenient for drivers.

@flapiz Sorry you had to deal with all that flooding. It was probably a big inconvenience for you when you were trying to walk around.

Be careful in those flooded streets. Glad you made it on time. Do you like Bath? I was there once. When we went into the bath house it was very crowded with tourists.

I do love Bath. I have been here over a year and I am still not bored of it. It does get crowded on the weekends and around Christmas.

@flapiz It seemed a nice town...a bit hilly. A relative of friend's used to live in Bath. This was many years ago though.

I’m glad your feet didn’t get soaked. That would have made for a very uncomfortable day.

It is drying out a bit now. But it was quite scenic. We had a lake instead of green field.

We've been hearing about the flooding in England. I hope it doesn't get even more inconvenient.

I know how it feels when a street where I live gets flooded due to heavy rains that come in my area from time to time. It is rough out there having to walk in a wet area.

Yeah I am glad I managed to get to work without soaked feet. I do not want to have fungal infections.

Glad you made it through. Did you get wet feet? We have a similar situation here and when we get floods (a fairly regular occurrence) it is easier to wade through on foot. But I'm always surprised at the number of people who don't own a pair of wellies - I simply couldn't live without mine!

It is drying a bit now which is a blessing. It has caused quite a problem for people driving as well.

This is good. Here it doesn't rain, but it will be very cold.

I'd rather it be cold than rainy as it is easier to dress warmly. But I miss the warm days.
