A tacky blow-up tree

While we were house-sitting in Greenhills, Western Australia, we went out to dinner. I’ve written about the battery-operated candles which were on the tables and maybe one day soon I’ll post a photo of my yummy mini-pavlova.
However, I thought the blow-up Christmas tree in the restaurant would have been better left in its box. It had deflated somewhat and looked very tacky really. To me, at first sight, I thought it was some sort of weird monster thing but looking closer I could see it’s meant to be a Christmas tree with presents underneath.
Not all Christmas decorations are attractive.

You are so right! One man's exquisite Christmas decoration is another man's nightmare.

I do not like these blow up decor items for any holiday. Here we get lots of wind and sometimes freezing temperatures and you get up in the morning and all the wind blown monstrosities have collapsed on the lawn. Not attractive at all.

It does look kind of sad there and better not displayed,

What an odd choice for a restaurant. Have a good weekend.

I think that kind of tree can attract only children.
