It snowed yesterday and there's probably about 2 inches on the ground as we speak, so that countdown looks even better now that some white stuff decided to rear it's ugly head. Ugh. I was feeing a little under the weather yesterday. Just a little tired and achy and a little tickle in my throat, so I took it easy most of the day and for dinner we got rid of some leftovers. I had spinach lasagna and some braised pork with some mixed veggies and wifey used up the kielbasa and made another sandwich out of it.

It seems like everyone is sick here. There's a lot going around. Hope you're feeling better. It was s**wing here; but the temp has risen to 38F. Maybe raining.

@1creekgirl I did and felt much better the next day. I also beefed up the vitamins which usually does the trick. I hate being sick and if I can avoid it, believe me, that's my goal. lol

Five months left of winter. It's snowing. Spring never comes on time. Your food looks good. Yesterday I had lunch for breakfast and breakfast for lunch. It's good to change it up sometimes. Breakfast: Banana and turkey salad sandwich. Lunch - Raisin Bran. Supper - Turkey salad sandwich. Dessert - Applesauce raisin bread - I almost forgot I still had some left, and a Dove DC Promise.

Sitting down? I didn’t go to Chuy’s. I went to Mark’s Feed Store for a baked potato stuffed with pulled chicken & cheese. More chicken soup for dinner (chicken & rice & vegetables). And peaches!!! And a Peppermint Pattie!

@LindaOHio — I get those “mini” peppermint patties, and I have one on Friday night and one on Saturday afternoon as my weekly “treat.” Two points.

Yesterday I ate lightly. I had some scrambled eggs for my lunch, and made burgers and fries for my hubby for supper, I had half of a burger. It was enough.

@LindaOHio My nose is still running and I cough alot, but the pressure from the sinus headaches has passed, as has the fever. I saw the girls today for the first time since before Christmas. They were snacking when I got to their place, so when they finished I marched them both into the bathroom to wash their hands, and Harper pointed to the potty and told me that she had to pee. I sat her down and she did just that! This was a first, she hasn't done that as of yet. Of course a couple of hours later she did the other, but didn't ask for the potty. I let her Daddy change that diaper.

@Juliaacv I'm glad you're feeling a little better. Kudos to Harper. Baby steps with the potty training.

We had a roast pork the other night and now we're having cold meat sandwiches or cold meat and salad to use of the leftover pork. It works for us! lol
