Sometimes you have to take the "good" with the "bad." And when it comes to music which expresses good or bad feelings, I prefer listening to both. Songs which express heartfelt feelings can be so relatable. As can songs which convey anxiety, insecurity and sadness. So, let's see if you like some of my favorite "good or "bad" songs in this series. Comments, musings, your own favorite "good or bad" titled songs and trivia always welcome... *YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME- BON JOVI -I'm not a fan of the big hair period of rock n' roll, but I do like this Bon Jovi tune along with their other hit, "Livin on a Prayer." Both of these songs reached #1 on the charts for these New Jersey rockers. Lots of energy in this live performance. Give it a listen! TRIVIA CHALLENGE ***Now for our trivia music challenge for those who like to play along. See if you can guess these selections. Words in "quote marks" provide valuable clues! Name this week's tune, artist or facts: 1. Jon Bon Jovi's success landed him and his band in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. Do you know the name of the "other New Jersey rock n' roll legend" who was also inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame? He goes by the "nickname The Boss." -Can you name the artist? 2. "Bad Time" was a song written and recorded by this "American Band" in 1974. The tune was about the singer meeting the girl of his dreams amidst his marital troubles, hence the lyric, "I'm in love but I must have picked a bad time to be in love." The group's song "Closer to Home" in 1970 brought them their first chart success and radio play. In 1973, they struck it big with their #1 tune "We're an American Band" making them a hot commodity as a live U.S. act. -Do you know the name of this Michigan based American band? 3. How about a "love song" which will give you a "good feeling" inside? It was just what the "Doctor, (Doctor), Mr. M.D.," ordered on this track to make the guy who was feeling so bad feel good again. This #1 tune from 1966 was the band's first hit. This "blue-eyed soul" group followed up their initial success with a bunch of recognizable 60's hit songs like "Groovin," "A Beautiful Morning," and "How Can I Be Sure?" -Do you know the name of this band and their "good-titled" song? Ok, lets be "a good egg" when answering these trivia questions. If you're stuck and need additional hints just let me know in your response. I'll be glad to supply one. Or, as the band Chicago would say, you can "Call on Me." Thanks for reading and responding to my music post!!! I will return with a new edition in the near future. Hope you can wait till then, lol. Stay tuned... Source- Wikipedia & songfacts.com

I thought you were going to break into the theme song for that old sitcom, Facts of Life after the first line of your post. I’m not good at musical trivia. I need the knowledge FourWalls has.

And I thought this was going to be an easy trivia quiz. Bruce is correct. Guess I chose a "bad bunch" of songs. #2- Grand Funk (Railroad) Sorry, had no clues for this one... #3- Clue: The opposite of old is ______. Do you remember the "Our Gang" TV show. They were also called "The Little ________." Put the 2 fill-ins to get the band. Song clue: If it's not bad its _______. Many couples will be looking for some romance on Valentine's Day, or just a little ________ from their spouse. The word means "Amore" in Italian. More fun music facts: -In 1971, Grand Funk Railroad broke the Beatles' Shea Stadium record for ticket sales.
