1/7/24 - Meals

I honestly don't care a lot if the weather is bad right now, my main concern lately has been my son and his health problems. He is in the hospital so often, in and out, specialists, etc...it's exhausting, for him and for me. Dealing with 4 feet of snow would be easier and less heartbreaking than this is. I vaguely remember eating some homemade soup and a corn muffin last night, the rest of the day/night is sort of a big blur, I was very tired.

Still treating the sinuses with salsa (and chicken taco salad) and chicken soup. And pears!!!!

We had tamale casserole.

I ate boring frozen stuff. As you may have seen, I had bacon and eggs this morning.

I just looked at the weather. We have a winter storm warning for tomorrow. We're expecting up to six inches. It will make me a very happy person. There's also snow in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday. I think May is more than 72 days from now. Your food looks good. Yesterday was breakfast and snacks. Breakfast - Raisin Bran and a banana. Lunch - Oatmeal with raspberries. Supper - beef and cheddar sticks. Snacks - sugar cookie, Oreo cookie, DC M&Ms. I'll check the scale soon. The calories weren't much with all that, so I'm hopeful.

I hope that this bad winter phase is not too long. I had mixed veggies rice with curd and cucumber salad for my lunch today. Stay warm indoors.

Let's see, yesterday was Sunday. I made scrambled eggs with cheese, with home made biscuits for breakfast. Coffee, of course. After church pastor fed us all spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and ice cream. Last night we ate a leftover casserole, with a banana. Coffee in the afternoon as well. We anticipated a storm all afternoon but it did not come.

i can't contribute to this discussion, however, i am interested to know your weather conditions. We only have two seasons here in the Philippines. Summer and rainy seasons. I haven't experienced having 4 seasons since I have not gone out of this country eversince.

I do not like that bad four letter word snow. I hope you do not get a whole bunch.

Soup is always welcome on a cold day.

I would love a blueberry muffin right about now. With some cold milk or kefir.

I ate sandwiches as well as rice and soup with meat.

Yesterday we had cottage cheese and peaches for breakfast, pizza for lunch/dinner

The food on the photo looks like baby's food.

I had a burger, pecan roll, yogurt and fruit. We just have rainstorms on the horizon..Big one tomorrow..zero on the fun meter..at least if it was snow there would be something to look at.

It's too cold here too but thankfully no snow or cold rain. I hope you'll get warm sunshine soon.

I was looking ahead and don't like what I see. Hoping it changes

That white stuff made an appearance here Saturday through Sunday and was more than enough to have to shovel. Today we have sun but tomorrow into Wed will be heavy rains. The whole week doesn't look very promising overall. Last night we had beef stew which was perfect for a nasty cold day.

Yeesh, that sounds like the things nightmares are made of. Good luck and hopefully we aren't joining you, although I suspect we will get some rounds here as well. Oh well. For dinner we had taco salad bowls.
