All phone service out where I live.

I am thinking of having stained glass window put in along the side wall of the college chapel where I went to school. It would be in memory of a good college friend of mine who recently passed away.
There are several panels there with generic stained glass in them. I would have to contact his family to discuss what his wishes would be. My favorite Bible chapter is Matthew 25, in which Jesus "goes all Mark Twain" and challenges the hypocrites, while simultaneously calling on us to help the poor.
This morning I tried calling a fella at the College to get the ball rolling, however slowly. I'm not going to part with my cash any time soon. But I'm interested in how much it would cost, who designs stained glass windows these days, and so on.
When I tried to call the College this morning, my land line was dead. I then went to my cell phone. Also dead. Are we under attack? Or did some local towers get blown down last night? My internet works!
That's where I am right now. Very odd.

I wonder if the cold weather in the east is affecting your sunny phone service. I can’t find anything online about news of an expansive outage in California.

That is odd. It takes less data to make a call or send a text, and more to browse the internet. Are you using two different providers? Is your land line digital? Now a days, most if not all landline are.

@TheHorse Now that's strange. It's unusual for mobile, phone to be out but not internet. Typically when one service goes down, they all do.

I think that is a wonderful idea to his memory, That is rather strange but then in the Florida news this morning it said many Florida schools had received bomb threats, I have a funny feeling we are no longer in the Age of Aquarius

Sorry about the passing of your college friend. The college team will be very happy for the stained glass window.
It could be cyber polygon. Cyber attack.

Sorry no phone service. With the wind blowing it's no wonder. Hope it's back soon.

Lovely window, is that from the same place as the other you posted?
(I must admit, at first look I thought he was playing bagpipes... failing eyesight can be fun!)
