Friends, I won. And Luna lost. I waited until sundown to fill her dish with dog food. Pigeons love it but Luna doesn´t. I did not have any delicious food to give to her. I cooked chicken today but I will eat it all myself. Yesterday she would not eat all the food even if I gave her less. She looked at it with the same face I look at fast food restaurants. But today she was hungry and it was getting late. She thought that maybe I had forgotten to feed her. I couldn´t explain to her that I preferred not to have her eat food that was licked by birds. Specially now that they are talking about a terrible flu transmited by birds. So when I half filled her dish, she politely let me pet her for a while but soon went to eat. Friends, I won. And she won too because she is fed. Tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, I´ll look for more old food to give to her. For the moment, I have enough place in the freezer for 3 kilos of ice cream. I´m rich. And I´m ready to buy Luna some bones for her. If I take out the old food, I´ll have room for both my girl and for me. Anita told me that she could buy some less expensive bones for Luna in her neighborhood. There aren´t those kind of things in my neighborhood. Soon I will have to be making another grocery list. But That one will include Luna in another way. I want her to lose some weight but in the good way.
