A Lee County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) deputy who last name is Lopez was working on Sunday when he witnessed an injured bobcat that was on the street. Deputy Lopez was able to rescue a young bobcat to his squad car and take the young bobcat to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Tampa Florida. Thanks to the efforts of Deputy Lopez, the young bobcat is expected to make a full recovery from his or her injuries that the young bobcat suffered. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/...

He was very brave and strong to pick up that cat,they can be very dangerous we have lynx here and they are not to be trusted

He had gloves on but still a brave move, but maybe he could tell that the bobcat would act mildly, as it appears calm, and not too distressed, at him picking it up like that.

Years ago my Dad lived in a rural place. He told me to go look out the front window. I did and there was a gorgeous bobcat walking up the driveway. Sure made my day.
