Abominable White Stuff

We have snow on the ground. An inch and a half to two. It grates me, as snow always does. But luckily, we don't have to deal with it here in southern Illinois like we had to deal with it back home in Wisconsin when we lived in West Allis, a suburb of Milwaukee.
Like back in 2011 when we got hit with a massive blizzard. And to make matters worse, my snow blower at the time was in the shop being repaired, so we had to literally shovel our way through it all.
It was maddening.
I suppose any time we do get any snow on the ground now I always go back to these pictures to remind me although it sucks to have any white stuff on the ground now, it could be a lot worse.
It gives me some consolation. But honestly not much.

I would be glad to only have up to 2 inches on the ground! That's not fun either, but we have at least 6 inches right now. Looks like it could be more but I can't find anything to tell me lol

We have a weatherman who says “BOTS,” as in “bring on the sn*w.” I’m going to make him come shovel it out of my driveway if we get any!!!

Enjoy as much snow as you can. I wish I was there to play with the snow. We could trade positions since you seem not to like snow.

I hate any kind of s**w as you know. The fact that it's 9F right now grates on my nerves. But it's 66 days until spring; and I hang onto that figure. The only thing is, we have to do this all over again next season. Phooey! Have a good evening.

THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for reminding me "why" I moved back to California from Montana. That picture was perfect to make me appreciate that even though the temperature is only 30 degrees right now, I don't have to deal with the ice and snow. We're supposed to have a sunny day, but I hate to tell the weather guessers that there are clouds over head and it's more apt to rain.
Gee, a snow blower? That went into the category of a luxury!!! I was the lackie that got to do ALL the snow shoveling when I was married. Oh such fun!!! I had to go out in below zero weather and shovel like an idiot while hubby was inside nice and warm. And he wondered why he ended up being an "EX".
