It was down to just 2F when I did the barn cats. That is too cold. And my pond heater has decided not to work now too. And it's frozen in place. Hopefully the pump keeps working until we can warm up a little bit.
I will just be hiding in the house again today. I might go out this afternoon to check the pump again. But don't plan on trying to work on it. It's too cold to do that.

@wolfgirl569 It is disgusting. AND expensive. I either spend a lot heating the house or I spend in doctors because I get ill.

You bundle up and walk funny from all of the layers
The pump was still working last I checked which will keep it from freezing solid. I need to try to get a different heater in there

@LadyDuck With the winds we had a few days ago it could have covered the heater with blowing ice. The pump is still working.

I have rescheduled all of our doctors' appointments to either a TeleHealth call or after March 1. Just can't deal with this cold and s**w. Hubs has one next month which I don't think he can avoid. Hopefully it won't be too bad out. Have a good day and keep warm.

I hope you unplugged the pump, cause it'll eletracute the fish

The pump is made for the pond and keeps the water moving enough to hopefully keep it from freezing solid. That will kill the fish if that happens.

We are at -3 right now. I want hubby to put the charger back on the car. We shall see. Things and people do not want to work when it is this cold. Today is warmer than yesterday.

But the heater is supposed to work. At least the last I checked the pump was still going. That keeps it from freezing solid

They don't seem to notice. But they have very thick fur coats that I want when I am out there
