Two days of meals

I don't cook much these days, so I buy mainly heat and eat foods. Sometimes I'll order delivery. Two days a week, I often go to dinner with a friend. But the rest of the time, it's microwaveable meals and bread for sandwiches or peanut butter. Today, I had chili fries from Wendy's followed by a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel (Schmidt Old Tyme). I had a small bacon cheeseburger (Walmart) around noon. I think I'm good to go for the day. Yesterday, I had a pre-packaged fresh meatball marinara sub that was ok-ish. Not nearly enough sauce and at least one more meatball would have fit in the roll. The meatballs actually had good flavor. It was under $4 and decent enough that I'd eat it if offered, but I won't order it again. I was given Healthy Choice Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo Steamers as replacement for a Lean Cuisine Chicken Alfredo pasta meal. I've had other Steamers that were surprisingly good, but this wasn't one of them, so it's not a future choice. Bland. Very.

Nice photo. It made me salivate. Once you get used to ordering food, you will enjoy different flavors. I'm used to cooking food.

If I could stand for longer periods of time, I'd cook more often. it has taken me all of my life to be able to cook really well and now it's so difficult to stand at the stove. I do what I can when I can.

@jerzgirl you might need a tall chair so that you can cook while seating.

That is all I eat just frozen heat-and-eat stuff, However, with my last grocery order when I took out the Salisbury steak from Banquet and saw the frozen mashed potatoes stuck to the bottom of the meat and the apple dessert tasted like goo I am now once again rethinking my menu and do not have a clue what to try next,

I'll eat banquet, but they are the lowest priced for a reason. I try to keep my expenses low and so occasionally buy banquet, but I've mainly been choosing Marie Calender and Stouffers. I'll also buy freshly made items that aren't frozen, like that meatball sub. The best I've had so far has been Walmart cheese and bacon cheeseburgers. Very good tasting. They didn't taste "cheap". If I could stand for longer periods of time, I'd cook more often. I do make grilled cheese and hot dogs periodically.

@jerzgirl sounds good to me, I will check out the other frozen dinner brands. I have found some really tasty beef smoked sausages from Walmart and enjoy those with fries,

It's hit or miss, really. Chili fries from Wendy's or their baked potato with a side of chili are actually quite good. The rest is luck of the draw.
