I prefer chicken thighs, either bone-in or boneless, skinless over chicken breasts. Although I usually get bone-in simply because it's cheaper. But from time to time, I do like to cook up chicken breasts.
As I did last night for dinner.
When I buy them, they are huge, and so I cut them into loins and points, and freeze them separately. This batch I cooked up loins.
I just seasoned them with a little bit of salt and pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Browned them up a couple of minutes on both sides, then added in chicken broth to make a braise. Drizzled Italian dressing over the top and covered and cooked for about 45 minutes.
Served them up with some buttered, kernel corn and baked potato slathered with French onion dip and fresh shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Delicious! What went on your plate last night?

That sounds delicious, I am always trying to change up my menu when I order groceries once a month, I will remember this because I am planning on getting chicken thighs, A family pack lasts me a long time and I have some to freeze as well,

Well, last night it was the pork chops in the air fryer which came out very well. Air-fryer is a bit misleading as a name, it's more like a mini-convection oven. I did the mixed root mash and brocolli but also a little bit of cauliflower (if you want expensive, cauliflower is it atm) and a rosemary and mustard gravy.
Tonight I'm making a fish pie, the kind with mashed potato topping and a white sauce. It's been freezing cold again so looking at a bit of comforting food.
