Got shocked about the news

January 19, 2024 8:00am CST
My colleague just retired from her work. And I became shocked when I heard she is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation theraphy. She had a cervical cancer stage 3.And after undergoing therapy, she got stroke. That's why she's having medicine now to cure that problem.I got to know that she needs 28 to 32 sessions of radiotherapy and 10 sessions of chemotherapy from her sibling. To my curiosity I searched about the disease. And I learned that 70% of cervical cancer is caused by human papilloma virus. That's why it is crucial for women to have HPV vaccine to her younger years as a protection against the virus.I also learned that men can also get such kind of vaccine because they can also get HPV virus. Awareness about such kind disease and its causes is truly important.Aside from getting HPV vaccines, it is equally important to have oneself Hepa B vaccine for example.

Thanks for sharing. I find many people having HPV. But we see not all of them for some reason end up with cancer.
