Mylotter friends, sorry I haven’t gotten a chance to post last month’s breakfast list recently. It has been busy and hectic at work. But this list is short and sweet and has no leftovers, but just a grade for the report card. And I have this month’s up hopefully on Wednesday. Better late than never, right? I’ll post last month’s belated fall meal list and this month’s supper recipe list by this weekend.. I’ll be working on February’s next week and will share it by next weekend, when it’s ready to go. I’ll check in this evening to do some catch up posting and commenting. 1. Challah French Toast (theMediterreandish): Though I didn’t get a chance to make this recipe in November, due to my brioche bread going bad. I had to wait to buy a new load and make it. I really loved this new version of French toast. You just need challah or brioche bread, creme fraiche (which is optional, but i didn’t use it), blueberries and orange slices to top it, almond extract, milk, and an orange honey syrup made from orange juice and honey. Grade: A-. 2. Strawberry and Banana Yogurt Bowl with Peanut Butter and Almonds (DomesticDietician): This is the first of the five yogurt bowl recipes I did last month, and did the last one this month. It’s really simple to make with Greek plain yogurt, sliced bananas and strawberries, honey, peanut butter, sliced almonds, and cinnamon brown sugar. Yum! Grade: A+. 3. Blackberry and Granola Yogurt Bowl (Domestic Dietician): For this second yogurt bowl you only have blackberries and Kind Granola Clusters with Greek yogurt, honey, and cinnamon brown sugar. Grade: A+. 4. Caprese on Toast (AllRecipes): For this recipe is traditionally an appetizer, I made this as a breakfast. And you need a few ingredients for this light dish: sourdough bread, mozzarella, tomato, EVOO and basil. Grade: A-. 5. Blueberry and Walnut Yogurt Bowl (DomesticDietician): For the third Yogurt Bowl, you only need blueberries and walnuts for the toppings to put in the Greek Yogurt. Sprinkle cinnamon brown sugar, drinkle honey on top before serving. Grade: A. 6. Pineapple and Coconut Chia Yogurt Bowl l (Domestic Dietician): For this Yogurt bowl, you need frozen pineapple, coconut flakes, and chia seeds. Since I didn’t have chia, I used flax seeds as a substitute which worked out fine. I ran out of frozen pineapple, and had only a few slices. Other than Greek yogurt, cinnamon, and honey, your breakfast is ready to be served. Grade: A-. 7. Pomegranate and Honey Yogurt Bowl (DomesticDietician): For the last one, you need pomegranate seeds (airils) and honey for this breakfast bowl. This yogurt bowl came out so good and fitting for a quick breakfast meal. Grade: A.
