The show "Seinfeld" - funny or not?

I assume that it depends on the person watching more than anything else. I mean, if the person watching has this specific type of humor then yes, it will be funny but if not then it won't seem funny at all. Two of my friends told me that they enjoyed Seinfeld and that they laughed out loud very much. However, I could barely display a smile once in a few seasons of Seinfeld, let alone to actually laugh at it.

@Cristi_Ichim It probably doesn't have the same comedic effect in a place like Romania, I suspect.

It's funny, but not laugh out loud funny. You might have to be American to appreciate the humor. It is hard to watch comedies directed at another culture. The nuances are a bit difficult to pick up.

@Cristi_Ichim No, specific to the US. That is why there is a British and American version of The Office.

I used to watch it and enjoyed it then. Looking back or seeing it again I don't find it that funny. I always got a kick out of that tall fellow, I think his name was Michael.

Thanks. When I watched the first few episodes of Seinfeld I felt completely disappointed. To me, this show is by far the lamest attempt at a comedy.

I am curious what you would think of it. If you find it funny or not.
