22 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from sunny, warm Green Bay, Wisconsin. It's really nice out there. My computer says 31, which is probably right.
I have a few things to be thankful for today.
I'm thankful I got up at 3 this morning with 8 hours of sleep. I went to bed at seven because I was falling asleep watching Jurassic Park. I'll finish watching it when I get off the computer.
I'm thankful the hospital visit went well. One poke and the medication was ready when I got there, so I wasn't there too long. I was on my way out the door at 8:40.
I'm thankful for friends and neighbors. My friend and neighbor took me for my hospital appointment this morning and my friend down the hall took me to get my hair done.
I'm thankful I have my hair done. It looks great again.
I'm thankful for my son who came to jump start the car. It's not the battery. So, the car is done. I'll call Rawhide to come pick it up. I don't know when I'll get another car. I'll be talking to my son about it.
I'm thankful my son or his girlfriend who will come get me in a couple of hours to go grocery shopping. He will bring me home. I still need to use my OTC card and I need one of the supplements I take every month for my bones.
I'm thankful for the soup I made today. It's delicious. Cheesy broccoli and potato soup with onions and mushrooms.
I'm thankful for the time I spent here today. I have the notifications finished and saw what you're doing in your world.

As long as you have alternatives to get around.
I'm thankful today's gone well. And, despite acting like a child, George is starting to behave more like himself. I'll never stop being thankful for that. His talking has improved and so far today he's making sense. That's another thing to be thankful for.

You had a good day today, got alot done and must have enjoyed the visiting during the car rides here and there.
I worked today, nothing exciting, just a busy day.
But I am thankful that we are slowly coming out of the terrible deep freeze, now if we can just get that snow making machine to stop, it is snowing again today.

@just4him Its okay, we don't need the snow, I would like it deflected to you, as you love it.
We had rain, freezing rain and snow today.
All mixed together it is a sloppy mess.
I hope that as much can run away into the storm sewers and not flood the roads or people's basements.

I am grateful for the city garbage trucks picking up the garbage early this morning as well as getting paid for survey work this afternoon.
